Err, sorry about the massive size. It is just the resolution I take the pictures in. I'll try to remember to take more in lower resolutions.

PS: The recent pictures are small.

I really like the wood texture you've made there. Is it made from a picture you've taken or?

The actual texture itself is plain white. It has no wood appearance at all except for it's plank shape. I drew than myself. What gives the texture it's wood-like appearance is the bump map I created using wood textures from this site:

Normally I don't make textures like this though because normally you need lots of color. In that case I just fix up a texture I find on the cgtextures website.

If I can remember I'll just have a smaller image and a link to a higher res one for those who wish to view it. Higher resolution always makes it look better.

The REAL titanic just had that as a surface to walk around on, in the movie you can see people on there with little beds to tan on. There IS a pool, but it is located in the interior of the ship.

Oh, well right now, it kind of looks funky with just some random steps there...

Well looking back at that post I realize I said it a bit harshly. I am sorry.

The point is still true, I've got much to add and if you have suggestions that work I would gladly implement them.

Also, I don't know when the next time I'll be able to work on this will be. I've got a lot of schoolwork to do again so this map will have to be on the back burner for a while. I'll still check this thread and respond to anything anyone has to say, though.

Just keep us updated when you get new pictures!
