    first it says the client is out of date
    then it says Disconnect: Kicked by Console : "Mismatch: effects\propspawn\init.lua".
    then once i reinstalled gmod it said
    Disconnect: Kicked by Console : "Mismatch: effects\balloon_pop\init.lua".
    anyone know what i can do?

    Your gmod is stubborn :/ if i was you, id uninstall it again, and make sure ALL gmod files are deleted from your steam directory, and try installing once again. Also, you could try defraggin gmod by right clicking it in your games list and selecting "Properties"
