Current Issues

Gmod isn't perfect. It would be a sin to say so. And with all the mods that we have nowadays, it'd be a miracle if they worked together with oneanother.
So, I'm going to update this list with issues and bugs on the build-server:

- Wiremod needs and update.

- The ranking system is not working properly.

- Admins currently cannot promote.

- Ban system is not working.


Reply to this topic with any other problems you might discover, so we can make this server a good place to stay

sourcebans needs to be fixed, couldn't use it at all last time i was on.

I'm actually in two minds as to reinstall this server, fresh. Would also fix any lengthy connection timings.. although judging by yesterdays performance, that was ok

The problem with the ranking system is Auto-Promote (a script written by a ULX guy) I think, is clashing with something fairly new.. as it worked fine to start with.

I STILL believe the past month of stress, and diappointment cause by SB, wasn't our problem. The problem with it was you could Ban, but it wouldn't log the ban on our website (which defeats the whole purpose of having SB int he first place). This problem was caused by our server not been able to 'write down' the ban to the database. So I think it was the databases problem, and not ours.

I will have a scout round today for a new database.. hopefully nothing too pricey (free would be nice), as my money took a blow this month

Yeah, same. That's when Garry broke WireMod.. it will be ok once Blizzard is back from him holidays and sent me updates

Bam can fix it for ya if you get on the server while he's online. Let him know you're there, I'm sure he'll help you out. I'd do it myself too, but as stated above, nobody other than Bam can promote atm.

For some reason the build server is offline. At least I can't connect to it.

That's true. The server seems to have vanished completely, None of us operators can access the control panel either. Like I said, I am trying to get a word with Bam, to discuss this, but he hasn't been on steam for around 2 weeks now.

Bam's profile sais he was online a couple of hours ago. Yet no one seems to can get to him...

uhh Garry didnt broke wiremod, he actually restirkced the LUA Errors (Not everything can pass without an error now) so ya, we kinda needa blame it on wiremod authorz lolz
