Hey guys,

I think you know the story already, if you read some of the wire news of me. Updated wire like every time.
Came across this:

Revision 2029
E2: E2: added ->Input for determining if a wire is connected

YES!! That function is great! Now I can use this to ensure that other people which are using my E2's, will connect all wires before it runs.
It's really great! Looking forward to it.

Hey folks,

Just updated my wire and gone through the changes in the changelog. I was quite amused as I read this:
Added an "Improved Wiring Tool".
This tool is an almost complete rewrite of the Advanced Wiring Tool.
It takes less bandwidth, selects entities on the client (=no lag) and has some other small improvments.
It will replace the wire advanced STOOL shortly. More features to come Smile

YAY! My prayer is heard!!!
I really digg this update!
No X Y Z bugs anymore,...

The text screen got recoded in the wire revision 1856.
I made a screenshot and photoshopped into it a separate close up of the same screen.
On the right, you can see the new menu. All inputs from the text screen got stripped also, except for the string input (which now changes the string on the screen instantly after input.)
The benefit of the new text screen is the new, crisp clear readable font. It's not pixelated anymore. It's all smooth and the resolution is now higher.
You can now change...

Today, I updated my wire. But all I heard was a "beep" sound telling me that the SVN doesn't exist anymore. I decided to look in the wiremod forums if there's a new repository.
I was right, they moved the entire project to sourceforge now.
If you use TurtoiseSVN or any other SVN program, you have to change the link.
The new SVN checkout link is:

Thanks for your attention.

Hey guys,

I just updated wire, and I noticed the newest change:
[E2] Added S:sub(N). Returns string from N to end.

I really could've needed that today, while making my AFK [E2]. I had to byspass it, by using: String:sub(5,String:length())

This change really makes life a bit easier Wink

Today, like every 2nd day, I updated my wire revision and took a look at the changelog.
When I looked at the changes in revision 1754, I was really happy:

[Wire Adv] Outputs can now be scrolled through with the scroll wheel at any time the output list is visible, even when not facing the entity.

YAY! That's a big time saver, especially when working with stuff with a lot of inputs / outputs like the Adv. Pod controller.
I'll look forward to that.
