You are going to learn, how to do a simple, but effective Etch-a-Sketch in 13 Steps!
1st Step:
Build a case for the Etch-a-sketch. It should fit the Screen length you plan.
2nd Step:
Spawn a Digital Screen (Wire - Display) in the middle of the plate. (Size doesn't matter, but don't use PC Monitor, plasma TV will be a bit unprecise, but will work.)
3rd Step:
Spawn 2 Multiply Gates on the plate (NEW CPU MODEL ROX! )
4th Step:
Spawn a Constant Value with these 2 Values: 31 and 255
5th Step:
Spawn a Button (non-toggle) with On Value 255 and Off Value 0
6th Step:
Now take the Namer Tool (Wire - Tools)
Set the Name for 1st Multiply Gate to: X (We will call it Gate X as of now)
Set the Name for 2nd Multiply Gate to: Y (We will call it Gate Y as of now)
Set the Name for the Button to: Clean
7th Step:
Now to the Wiring:
PixelX from Digital Screen to Gate X
PixelY from Digital Screen to Gate Y
FillColor from Digital Screen to Button
8th Step:
Spawn a Graphics Tablet (Wire - I/O) on the ground. (Make sure the size is the same as the size of the Digital Screen)
9th Step:
Pick it up in air and place it at an 45° angle. Snap to the middle of the Back from the Graphics Tablet, and weld it to the Front middle of the Digital Screen.
10th Step:
Now, if you look from the left, you will see that there are 2 Screens perfectly aligned. The Back Screen is still the Digital Screen, the Front Screen is the Graphics Tablet.
11th Step:
Wiring:
Back Screen (Digital Screen) Clk Input to the Graphics Tablet's Use output.
Gate X A input to Graphic Tablet's X output.
Gate Y A input to Graphic Tablet's Y output.
B of Gate X and Gate Y to the Constant Value
12th Step:
We're almost done. Now take the ordinary Color Tool, with these settings:
Red: 255
Green: 255
Blue: 255
Alpha: 1
Now Left-Click with the Color Tool on the Front Screen.
13th Step:
You're finished, when aiming at the Front Screen, you will see a little cross, press and hold E to draw. Have fun!
