    Parent Tool

Post by The Erik on Wed Aug 04, 2010 12:49 am

Like the title said, I'd like the weld-detail tool replaced by the proper parenting tool.

Here's the one I dug up from gmod.org (Feel free to submit a better oen if found):
    http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=69479

and for those who doesn't like gmod.org, here's the exact same file uploaded to Mediafire:
    mediafire.com ?509axswgt3lt179

I've been using the weld - detail tool for a while now, to create moving contraptions with a lot of props, and in the end, all of them still had 'that wobble' that made it useless as a real contraption. In short, Weld - Detail has a good thing, world collision, but that very collision is causing shakes and wobbles when the props are colliding, despite being 'parented'.

    Thoughts?

What I am saying, is that there is some issues with the current one, and I'd like to see if I can find a better solution for that kind of tool.

Oh, and I hate to say this, but GRAMMAR. Add some punctuation and grammar to your posts, it makes them a LOT easier to read.
