    If you think your steam game takes years of starting, theres a fix! Very Happy NOTE: This is only for games created by valve such as HL2!!
    go into your games list right click on the game you want to load faster
    press properties, then a box will appear
    in that box you press "Set Launch Options..."
    another box appears there you write
    Code:
    -console -novid
    press ok, launch the game Very Happy

    it doest load faster with console
    i use it on TF2 (and alot of other source games) and it load pretty fast Razz

    SP1 is the latest vista, wheras SP3 in the latest XP... if I still had XP theres no way I would get SP3 so soon after release, coz its too new and therefore will be buggy.... just like vista when that was new. However, vista has been out nearly 2 years now.... MANY problems have been ironed out... hence why I got it Smile No problems here, and makes XP look like '98!
